One of the best Greek meze (tapas) tavern !!!

Whenever i go to athens, i will alaways visit my friend Angelos in barbakios to drink tsipouro and eat the nice mezedes (tapas) he makes. Is one of the best tapas bar in the area and I highly recommend it!

By far the best place to visit in varvakeio

The owners angel and Tatiana are two of the most welcoming people I ever met. True Greek hospitality. Just walk up there from the nearby metro stations. U won't regret it. Order a plate of shrimp spaghetti and you will never forget it

Great food. Charming charismatic owner.

Food was really good. Tried soulvaki at 4 different spots in Athens and this was my favourite. On my way again to get some before I fly back to London!

Excellent Moussaka & Souvlaki

Really nice restaurant in the Market with very kind owner. Just keep in mind that it is located between the butchers - so for vegetarians maybe not the best place but 100% authentic and lovely!
