About us

I am surprised this Taverna has not been reviewed before as it is long established, always full and really good value. It is located in a small side street just behind the harbour road, next to Lisa’s Place and the Harbour Lights Bar. It is a traditional family run taverna which cooks either fresh for you, from the Souvlaki Grill or from a number of pre-cooked dishes which you can view in the kitchen. The prices are really good too. And because it is always busy it has a good atmosphere - Ok the views aren’t as good as the harbour side, but you can eat well here for value and then go for a walk and drink at the harbour later.

Most amazing experience in Paxos

The staff is brilliant, they are so efficient and friendly, can’t not believe how fast they move and how much care they put on each customer :) The owner/cheff cooks so well...it reminds me of my grandmother’s food. So delicious and healthy. Would give them 10 starts review if I could. We came 2 times already and we will keep coming for sure. All they cook is homemade! Even the bread! Please try it, you will love it.

Delicious food, great staff

Family taverna

Lovely welcome and service as usual. Invited into the kitchen as is Greek tradition and good choice including meat on the spit.

Just amazing

The Lamb special is probably the tastiest meal I’ve had in my life . The family are charming and the atmosphere warm , friendly and fun . Very reasonably priced . My favourite restaurant in the World ????

A real gem

You will not regret that you have come to this restaurant. Owned and operated by a family, serve variety of home made food and local dishes, each one of what we have tasted was delicious. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Just wow

This place deserves to be #1 in lakka. Family run restaurant with good and attentive service, cozy atmosphere and the food is just amazing. So authentic and simple, yet so obvious that the recipes are a family treasure. 10/10 definitely the best restaurant in Lakka.
