Antica Canea Luxury Rooms

Stayed 10 nights here with my sister. Had originally only booked 4 nights and planned to move on but loved it so much we booked 6 more nights. The Pool Room was great, really comfortable, extremely clean, everything you could need. Roof terrace/plunge pool were a bonus - we definitely made use of the them during our stay. Location is excellent, just off the beaten track, so its nice and quiet at night but yet minutes away from bars, shops, very good restaurants, Chania centre and venetian harbour. Walkable to the beach (20 mins ish) and 15 mins or so walk to bus station (should you want to see a little of the island). Michele is a nice man - very accommodating and very helpful. We had a slight issue as we wanted single beds, but Michele found a way to accommodate our request (at short notice). There’s no option for breakfast (rooms only) but that is no hardship as a few mins from the property there are lots of places to get food. Don’t hesitate- great place in excellent location . My advice is book directly with them - there are a few perks for doing so! …

We stayed at the Antica Canea for 2 nights, our flight landed at 9.15am so we arrived before 10.00, the host was waiting for us, showed us the room which was still being prepared and we were able to leave our bags. We then went into Chania for the rest of the day but our room was available from around 10.30am. The room was a good size with a small but perfectly functional bathroom, we were on the ground floor and had our own entrance right on to the alleyway outside. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we couldn’t fault anything. The location is great, about 3 min walk to the harbour front and about 5 min to the old town centre, near enough to everything but just far away enough to be quiet. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to Chania

Excellent clean & comfortable room with all the modern facilities we expect. Perfect location only a couple of minutes walk from the Venetian port, old town market and city centre. Great hosts that made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely stay here again when in Chania.
