Corner food and drinks, Perissa

The restaurant is perfect for late breakfast, lunch or dinner, with a big variety of food. We tried the burgers, pasta and salads and every morning we came for the coffe and some snack. The beach is nice, with black sand and clear water.

If anyone tries to drag me into a bar or restaurant – I have a problem. Queues, (while not a guarantee), are a better indication of what to expect, rather than a “passive-aggressive” person trying to drag you towards their “menu of pictures”. I usually avoid this kind of behaviour – not reward it. However, as we walked past “Corner” a very pleasant young lady quietly asked would we like to stop for a drink. My wife did fancy a coffee and this young lady was the opposite of aggressive – so we decided to stop and I’m so glad we did. We only intended to stay for a drink, (cappuccino for my wife, special “Corner coffee” for me) but I was feeling a little peckish, so I ordered the Club Sandwich as well - everything was first class. Most of the chicken, from my sandwich was enjoyed by Nairobi, the cutest little black cat you’ve ever seen. Not that I didn’t want it – but who could resist those big green eyes? Throw in the relaxing sound of the waves, lapping against the black-sand beach and the warm autumn sunshine - you have a simple but very rewarding place to eat and drink. A very, very nice establishment indeed, that can be recommended.

The food and drink here at the corner cafe taste beautiful and in our opinion are great value for money. The girls in the cafe tending to the beach are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them and they’re always welcoming when you arrive. This is our second visit to Perissa and the girls even remembered us from our stay 2 years ago (before covid hit). We don’t go anywhere else during the day. Highly recommended a visit.

The food was very good, the staff is very helpfull. It certainly was the place I visited at least once a day during my stay in Santorini. You have to try the pancakes ar breakfast.

My husband and I have eaten at Corner a few times now. For being right on the beach, the prices are excellent! We ended up getting 2 sandwiches with fries and 2 Fantas for less than €20 for lunch. I love their selection of simple lunch food (sandwiches, burgers, salads). Where some other restaurants are more focused on fresh fish or traditional Greek food, Corner gives an excellent selection of light and simple foods for lunch. The 2 waitresses are also super super lovely, serving both the restaurants and the sun beds in front.

Our family have eaten here every lunchtime. Such a great find. The food options are great, the fresh juices are fantastic but Anna and the rest of the staff make this place, such lovely warm welcoming people. We have used their sun beds on the beach too. Beds are 8 euros each with umbrella. Juices between 4.50 -6 euros are so good. Anna on a few occasions has treated us to lovely puddings on the house. The waffles, pancakes and fruit baskets delicious. I am gluten free so the omelettes are a great choice. Don’t visit Perissa without stopping in here for a drink, snack of dinner.

The food and drinks were great and affordable. Amazing pancakes, club sandwiches and seafood spaghetti. Best restaurant by the beach with a beautiful view. We returned three days in a row. The staff Andra and Efi were very kind and helpful and even gave recommendations on how to navigate the city.

This restaurant became our favorite place to be. The staff is really kind and accomodated. The food is good and this part of the beach is not too crowded. Definitely try the moussaka. From the Cassandra table ;)
