This lovely store is a must while visiting Sifnos island. It is located in Kastro - a village that is worth a stop in itself. The store overlooks the ocean (in the back of the village) and the designer/owner is super nice. His pendant and ring designs are beautiful and elegant with simple lines. Best selection on the island - and very affordable. I’m pretty picky when it comes to jewelry but there were so many pieces I Ioved!

The jewelry shop is beautifully situated at the top of the old village of Castro with a fantastic view over the sea an the little church- island. We bought some lovely handcrafted silver jewelry.

A beautiful shop, with the most extraordinary view and a lovely selection of paintings, jewelry and ceramics. A real craftsman with original designs, all exquisitely displayed. Always good to meet and talk with the artist, Maximos is very friendly and interesting to talk with.

We first met Maximos in 2008 on a trip to Sifnos with our then-young sons. We spent a day in Kastro and stumbled upon his gorgeous shop on the edge of the sea, high up on the cliffs. What an amazing location! I was so enchanted by his jewelry that we bought necklaces for all of us and still enjoy them to this day. Fast forward to 2019, my husband and I visited Sifnos once again and specifically sought out Maximos on a day trip to Kastro. I lost my wedding band down a sink drain (!) and decided that if Maximos was still in business, I would buy my new wedding band from him. I was so happy to see his store still there! In fact, we were very lucky on our timing because he relocated for a few years and just came back to Sifnos recently. We had a really wonderful chat with him, and I found a most gorgeous gold ring that he said is one of his new designs. I love my new ring so much! I bought two pairs of earrings also...I love all of his designs. And Maximos is such a talented, friendly and interesting person. We will definitely come back to see Maximos on our next trip to Sifnos (this was our third, so you can tell we love this very special island...we WILL be back)!

After many years of visiting Sifnos for summer vacations and passing by this shop, I finally decided to have a look at the pieces and just fell in love, amazing pieces with very fine quality. Got myself an amazing silver-mother of pearl ring that is fashioning my hand ever since I left the shop. My only regret is not getting more pieces!
I totally recommend this shop for anyone looking for a real handcrafted jewel from the island as keepsake of a nice summer vacation!

We bought 3 beautiful silver rings at a very reasonable price. The craftsmanship and imagination of the jeweler are impressive. Plus he was extremely kind, we spend a nice time talking with him about his art and the beautiful island of Sifnos.

I passed by the gallery and didn’t notice it because I was looking out to sea! So, remember to look for it. My daughter caught up with me and we went back to see the necklace that she had fallen in love with. Maximos is a extremely nice and indulged my daughter and her friend, explaining how he works and the inspiration behind pieces.My daughter bought aforementioned necklace and her friend bought one too. If you visit Castro make sure you look him up. It was lovely to meet you Panagiotis!

I called into this shop on my walk to the church of the Seven Martyrs in Kastro and had a lovely time choosing an elegant pair of earrings and a small cross. Maximus Panagiotis is a craftsman and I could have bought more easily but am happily wearing his sweet but elegant earrings and will give the other as a keepsake for a friend. Well worth a visit and a chat with this gentle artisan.

Visited this shop yesterday. Nice painting and artwork on ceramics. Bought a couple of pieces. Friendly, delightful owner Maximus. Lovely gallery in a lovely location.
