Our most favourite taverna in the WHOLE of Greece and the UK

Our third time in Gouves and for the third time we ate at Epi Trapezis every other night! Not only do they do the best pizzas in the whole of Greece & the UK (and believe me we have tried a lot of pizzas!) but they also do amazing Greek food and delicious pasta! Every single pizza is amazing, and I always mix and match the toppings to my own taste! Try bolognese with tabasco and olives, try the white sauce pizza with chicken, mushrooms, olives and tabasco! Add anchovies to the tuna pizza, try any of them! All totally delicious and amazing thin and crispy base! Pasta I can recommend 4 cheese spaghetti, pesto spaghetti (they come out and pick the basil in front of you!) and the greek dishes make a wonderful meze:- rabbit, mini snitzels, garlic pizza, calamari, bekri meze YUM YUM YUM! A beautiful family run taverna that is so very special. I am heartbroken that they have said they will be closing next year. Epi Trapezis was the main reason we return to Gouves!

Excellent food, service and value.

We visited here for a good value pizza based on the reviews here and weren’t disappointed! A meal for 4 including 2 teenage sons was around 40 euros...with wine, beers and soft drinks! Pizzas were delicious and pasta was tasty. We returned as a family, and our sons also visited independently....favourites were the pizza Bolognese and pesto pasta...all made with fresh herbs growing in pots around the restaurant. Staff were friend,y and welcoming to us all as a family and to our teenagers who were really impressed. Will definitely return on our next visit to Gouves and sample the Greek dishes. Thank you for your hospitality

Amazing service, reasonable prices&delicious food

We loved the greek atmosphere, super helpful staff and comfortable location. Food is so good, that during our stay we came back 3 times! They definitely serve the best pizzas is Gouves! Seafood pastas, mussels&shrimps saganaki, spicy cheese cream, garlic bread were amazing too!

The Bennett’s

Visited twice on our holiday so far. First time we had delicious pizzas which we couldn’t finish, so they gave us take home boxes. Second time we chose Greek meze which were so tasty. My husband is particularly taken with the homemade Raki they give you at the end of your meal, along with fresh fruit. All in all a very Greek experience at a very reasonable price. 10/10

Best pizza’s

Just returned from a week in Goúves and ate here twice. 1st time we got the large pizza between 2 and it was massive would easily feed 3/4, 2nd time we got a garlic bread to start and a small pizza to share and the small pizza is still a good size. Would highly recommend trying the pizzas in here you wouldn’t regret it.

Fantastic food

We had Greek style pizza here on our first night. We had 2 of the smaller pizzas each, however 1 large would have done us both just fine. The staff are friendly and you can see the chef cooking through an archway in the wall showing off the stone pizza oven. Was closed on our last night (Tuesday) but would have loved a second meal here before our holiday was over.

Delicious food

It’s very nice place for lunch and dinner as well. We have eaten so many delicious pizza’s there. Also they are offering traditional greek meal. They have a very lovely staff and they can help you with choosing food for you. Pizza SPECIAL is one of the best pizza’s we have ever tried. Big ????
