Fabulous

Was there with friends on the first day of our trip to Gavdos and visited it again and again. We were really thrilled of the dishes that we had. Not one of them, not some of them, it was simply all of them. Amazing taste combined with the excellent service of Maria ( super friendly, helpful and the best vibes). Couldn’t finish this report without mentioning the owner-cook of the restaurant that was meeting every single customer personally to say a nice word and give a smile! Totaly amazing, Totaly satisfied! Definitely we will be back! Well done!!!

Amazing home made food and excellent atmosphere

It cannot be better on this island with the particular beauty and laid back lifestyle. Gogo offers a homemade food with local ingredients and humongous portions in a well taken care of environment. It can easily beat many renowned chefs offering unique unbeatable tastes. Highly recommended.

Genuine Simple and Cosy

Gogo cooks different delicacies everyday. She starts serving after 3pm and until late at night. Everything is fresh made so many dishes run out towards the end of the day. We tried boureki ( pie with cheese and courgette) , rooster with chips and , and artichokes. Everything was delicious and appropriately priced. They have no more than 5 tables on a terrace with candle lights. It can be a bit chilly at night so take a top to keep you warm.

Gogo’s personality is even more delicious

Gogos Place is the gem of Kastri. It ranked at the first place of our appreciation list. Apart from the well made food, they surprised us enough with some savoury twists, as Veal cooked with rum. The desserts also a thumbs-up! But most of all its Gogo’s personality that stands-out: a whimsical yet dynamic lady who runs the place with her restless daughter and two other ladies. The indoor place, very cozy and feng-shui type. The back yard is a romantic hideaway. A wonder... Don’t miss it.

Great & lovely place

Enjoyed our lovely, tasty and lavish meals at Gogo’s, where we felt always welcome to take seat among to locals. As usual on Gavdos, there is no fixed menu but a daily choice of home-style cooked meals. We tried almost all of them and none disappointed. Service is as laid back and friendly as you’d expect on this lovely island. Prices more than reasonable for the quality offered - would come back anytime!
