Koroni beach ⛔️
There is no access on the beach! Only by boat! A few meters above the beach the road is like it have been ruined so any car could not reach the beach. At this spot there is a guy that told as that this place is private from august 2020.

Lovely beach - but road can be a challenging drive in a small car
This beach is quiet, clean and has wonderfully clear water. It is a bit off the beaten track - with a steep dirt road leading down to it. This is manageable in an under-powered hire car, but might be a problem if it rains. The beach has a very laid back vibe.
Loungers and umbrellas available for 7 Euro, no other shade. Cliffs at the far end look a bit crumbling so I would avoid sitting right underneath them.
Snorkelling was OK with decent numbers fo fish, but nothing special.
We thought that this beach was well worth the effort of getting there.

Very beautiful beach
Small but very beautiful and calm beach. The water very clear, ideal place for relaxation.Two sunbeds with one umbrella is 7euro.

Beware of waves
There is quite a drag back on the waves through shingle before waves crash. May not be the best place to bring small children.
I witnessed a toddler being dragged under fortunately the horrified mother grabbed the startled child. Could put them off the seaside for years!
A steep drive down on concrete/dirt track -with some deep pot holes. Limited parking by the beach.
Soft sand on the beach and in the water but shingle on shore line.
Fresh water spring “shower”. Sun beds and umbrellas. Taverna part way down track.
Could become a victim of its own success.

Magic place
One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in Kefalonia. Amazing waters,nice sand,clean beach with very helpful and warm people. The view at the cafe is amazing. It’s one of my favourite beach from now on.

this beach was once a secret most Kefalonians didn’t know about.
Back in the day, Koroni was known only to people from the surrounding villages, Xionata, Valeriano, Atsoupades, Platies, Mavrata, Thiramonas. Before a road was opened it was accesable only from a single goat path. When a road was opened( if you really want to call it a road) 10 times worse than what you might encounter today. When tourists would ask about a beautiful beach they heard of, my mom would steer them to a nearby beach, but not Koroni. Glad I got to enjoy it in its most pristine condition. Hope everyone else enjoys it now. Please no soap at the shower.

Quiet and just beautiful!
What a great place! Nice calming beach, for someone that likes to explore and a long beach too! The waters are fantastic just when driving there you need to be a little careful as the road is not tar all the way!
