Relaxing

Have been going to the Miami for many years .It is always our port of call when we visit Pothia.Always found the staff very helpful and friendly. Can’t fault the place, the prices are excellent for where It is situated across the road from the harbour. An ideal place to sit ,relax and let the world go by

BEST COFFEE AND BREAKFAST IN KALYMNOS

The two brothers who operate this fine establishment are the best in the business !! The coffee is among the best I’ve tasted in Greece and the food is fresh local produce and of very high standard. My kids loved the Nutella crepes while my wife and I enjoyed the freshly baked baguettes daily. Will be back !

Ideal for breakfast

We were staying at the nearby ’Olympic Hotel’, but there we were told that the hotel doesn’t do breakfast service anymore and that we could go instead - at hotels charge - to the restaurant ’Miami’. We had booked on a bed and breakfast basis. The cafe ’Miami’ already opens at 7 am (thus earlier than it would have been at the hotel), which suited us for our daily excursions. The friendly lady at the service spoke excellent French, which was very much appreciated by my friends. Although there is also an American breakfast available, ours was a Continental Breakfast, with a freshly prepared Orange Juice, with either a warm Baguette or Toast, and plenty of jam and butter. Since we stayed for several days, the lady already knew which kind of bread we prefer, or if we are into Filter Coffee or Black Tea, whenever we came back. The outdoor seating is lovely too, with great views towards the harbour area.

Great atmosphere and even better food.

This is one of my three fav spots on the island. Went here a few times and tried many different omelettes and sandqiches. All very well cooked without any excess oils. The ratio of the fillings in the omlettes was perfect. Also had a few freddo cappuccino that was good quality. This will be my relaxation spot every time I visit the island as the owner and staff makes you feel warm and welcome.

THIS IS A GREAT HARBOUR SIDE BAR

THE MIAMI BAR & CAFE. The Miami Bar is situated just across the road from where the boats dock. They serve fantastic Cocktails and Ice Creams in great looking glasses, their presentation is very good and the chairs are very relaxing.
