Private Luxury Boat Tour to Kleftiko Milos

Despite its nice atmosphere and fairly made cocktails, its coffee is horrible. Too much water in it. They have to do something about it cause it used to be one of my favorite places in Glyfada but not any more

My husband and I visited Milos for our honeymoon. We did the full day Kleftiko boat tour with Salty Rides and it was the best day ever! We relaxed and sunbathed on the boat (which is red and totally new) and visited some amazing bays and little caves, including of course the awesome Kleftiko! The captain was there to meet literally all our needs and wishes, and made our day even better with a small honeymoon surprise at the end of the tour! It was really what we were looking for, some private time to fully appreciate the beauty around us and to enjoy each other. Drinks and snacks were offered in abundance throughout the tour. Towels were given for free to take home and they were extra fluffy. We even had windproof jackets to wear during the ride when it got a little chilly (early October). We truly felt like home on this boat and with Manolis. Will be back soon!!

We went on a boat tour with Salty Rides to Kleftiko as part of our bachelorette trip to Milos! It was a surprise for my bride-to-be friend and it was the best thing we did in Milos! We had so much fun n on board and at sea. We sunbathed, took photos of the unique places our captain Michael took us, and had some drinks altogether! His music choices throughout the tour lifted us up and had us dancing by the end of the day! It was exactly what my friend needed before her big day!

Our captain organized a tour according to our wihses to Kimolos and Milos.

The tour was absolutely amazing. Starting from the captain, the boat , the visited beaches, the tour organization, the food, the water sport equipment, the drone shots. Just everything was beyond our expectations.

If you are searching for a perfect day on Milos. This is absolutely the best choice.

Nice place and not the typical kind of cafe-bar that you ll find in Glyfada. If you want to avoid all the fuss and the exageration then you definitely have to go there. Nice atmosphere and I love the backyard at summer time.

We had such a blast with Salty Rides in Milos. Can honestly say it was one of our favorite experiences in Greece. Captain Manolis is awesome!

Wow! This was one heck of a fantastic experience. We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) and we had the most incredible time on our half day excursion with Salty Rides. Yes, you are afforded the opportunity to see Milos from a perspective most people don’t get, and the views are just breathtaking. Nonstop stunning rock formations against that incredible aqua water...Oh my. And no crowds! For us, the biggest perk was the chance to snorkel in small coves where most boats are too big to enter. We literally had some locations all to ourselves! Be prepared for cold water during certain times of the year, but it is so worth it. The water was so clear, and the company provides an underwater camera with a video function, which totally enhanced our experience. Be sure to remember to ask for that camera!

Midway into our excursion, Captain Manolis provided lunch (cheese pies, flatbread and fresh fruit in these pretty little jars, a very classy detail). There was also wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages for us to enjoy. We felt very five-star! Captain Manolis was perfect, friendly and accommodating but not intrusive. My son loved the opportunity to play his own music through the speaker, another fun detail. The weather cooperated, it was sunny and warm--but beware that after you go in the water, it can be rather chilly, especially when the boat starts going again. The company provides these awesome windbreakers for guests to use, and we all did. I would also recommend a jacket underneath if you tend to get cold. They also provide beach towels and they let you take them home along with a cinch bag, another classy detail. The boat itself was modern, comfortable and clean. Perfect for the four of us. Not sure I would want too many more people on it, but there is seating in the back as well as the front so it can accommodate a few more people.

Of note, there is not much underwater sea life to see so don’t expect any great snorkeling in that regard, it’s much more about the clear water and the rock formations and the experience of swimming through such beauty. FYI there was one small cove that we went in toward the end, I doubt too many boats can get in there. We swam through it and had a great time but note that we saw several small jellyfish with long tentacles-It was the only place we saw them and we did a lot of snorkeling at the various beaches in Milos. Probably had something to do with the small size of the cove or perhaps the time of day. Not sure. My daughter got stung, not a big deal but I can see how this might freak some people out.

Aside from that, everything was perfect. Highly, highly recommend.

We had SUCH an incredible day with Salty Rides & Manolis! Even though the day we went out was a bit windy, we were able to see some of the most incredible locations in the South of Milos. Manolis also took us "offroading" to some secret cave locations and we had a blast. This boat tour will be the highlight of any trip to Milos!!! You can hook up your own music, get incredible drone shots & videos, and swim around with all of the awesome sea toys that Salty Rides provides for you (along with some great snacks & beverages!) HIGHLY recommend -- I’ll be back some day to do this again!

A hip place for excellent cocktails and groovy music. The crowd is in their 20s and 30s, with an occasional sprinkling of 40somethings.

It’s a small property, so it gets crowded tight and rather smoky (a better air con system would be a definite plus).

All in all, probably the best bar in Glyfada.

We had been looking into boat rides around Milos and we bumped into Salty Rides From minute one, talking to Mike we could tell it would be a relaxed and fun day and we weren’t wrong.

It was an amazing day, our highlight of Milos - delicious home made snacks, unlimited drinks and amazing sea toys to add to the experience and autonomy to decide where to go and what to see :)

Worth it!

Best boat tour day ever, best day spent in Milos, hands down. Manolis was a dream skipper. As a Milos-native, he is extremely knowledgeable about the island - geography, culture, history - and navigation of his waters. Having lived abroad for several years, his English was impeccable and we enjoyed fantastic conversation throughout the day. The beauty of Milos’ sea and coastlines is without question, but you cannot experience it fully without SaltyRides accoutrements! They provided an inflatable paddleboard, a full-face snorkeling mask, a "water scooter" and even a drone to help expand our experience and perspectives. They even offered delicious local cheese pies and fresh fruit to sustain energy in the sun! The boat was in pristine condition. It’s clear that Manolis and his brother Michalis have a huge passion for their island, the experience they offer, and the people they meet along the way. My friends and I felt incredibly lucky to have come across them through this experience. We will be back FOR SURE.

I took my three teen girls out in June 2021 with Manolis and his Salty Rides boat. We absolutely loved everything about the day and would highly recommend seeing Milos via a day on the water. His knowledge of the island was awesome to experience, as he knew all the secret caves and beaches. A private tour was so much better than all those big sailboat tours we saw. Lots of toys as well incl sup, drone and snorkel gear!

Manolis was a legend. The whole service was top-notch. My husband was looking for something relaxing, chilled and private and we got exactly that plus a really great captain - Manolis. He took us to all the cool beaches in the south, had plenty of drinks and the food his mum prepared (so much of it) was impeccable, which you sometimes just don’t expect from a boat trip. Couldn’t recommend enough!
