Great place to eat- Hera is the restaurant at Muses

Really good traditional greek taverna, home cooked food, half a litre of house wine for €5, friendly staff, good daily “specials”. We ate here 4 out of 10 nights, and all meals were “nostimo!” (Delicious in Greek) 100% recommended Try it, you won’t be disappointed! Neil

My best meal of 3 island hops

You won’t find Muses Taverna by just walking by as it’s the far end of the right of the harbour if you are looking out to sea. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough, so go seek it out and book. We went for a late lunch and had the best welcome, attention by all the staff and the best food of our whole 13 day trip to 3 islands. Everything we put in our mouth was perfect. The wines which are gorgeous are also chosen specially for this restaurant. We chose simple and inexpensive dishes but each one came presented like a michelin star dish. My husband and I (we were on our honeymoon) were so impressed that we asked to see the chef to compliment her face to face. We have only just got back from the trip and this is the first review I wanted to do. I still relive the taste of the bacon wrapped souvalaki with roasted peppers... sounds simple but go taste how they do it at Muses!! Hope to return another year and will be back!!!

Very classy looking restaurant with food to match

The classy appearance of this restaurant should not put you off because the food is great and the prices are no higher than other restaurants in the area. The menu and wine list are extensive and the service and quality and quantity of the food were all excellent. Probably the best restaurant in Koukounaries !

Popped in for a drink and ended up eating a lovely meal

We were walking passed and popped in for a drink or three!. Lovely welcome from the bar staff. Small bar by a small pool. As soon as we entered we were made welcome and spent longer than originally intended as we enjoyed the conversation between guests and ourselves and ended up having a lovely evening meal . We will be back
