Fantastic food by the beach

A lovely family taverna for many years now. I revisited the place after almost 9 years and the food, the atmosphere and the service were as good and even better! We tried saganaki, octopus, gavros, sardela pantremeni (Greek type grilling), a lovely Greek salad and a huge tasty sinagrida!!!! Next to the old rail racks and a few minutes from Platamonas Castle, I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to eat at this area!!

Fab supper

Great spot listening to the waves whilst tucking into very generous portions of tasty seafood. 4 mains, 4 very large salads, 2 sides, 1 beer, 1 wine ... 77 euros for 4 with yummy free homema dessert.

The best octopus in the world ! Simple rustic greek sea food!

Thave been coming to Platamon for years , it’s my second home , I confess I am half greek and have visited every year for over 40 years. We always love the food in Greece, the choice being meat or fish ! When we want fish, we visit Flisvos, mid week even in summer it’s easy to get table , a simple taverna on the shore of the Aegean , under the shadow of a medieval castle and the rolling hills of mount Olympus . Our son doesn’t eat fish, they have amazing salads and meat dishes to satisfy those who don’t care for fish For those that do, and who want to try octopus that melts your mouth, or sardines that taste of the sea and are as fresh as you would find anywhere , then look No further. Relaxed , organic, simple and excellent!

A well hidden jem..this seafood tavern provides an amazing seafood experience along with an ideal environment..!!

If one wants to experience an ideal seafood experience this is the place to be..a family owned restaurant..with a real graphic environment with excellent food and excellent service. I highly recommend.

Amazing food and service in the most beautiful location!

This restaurant offers amazing, fresh food and great service and remains as the culinary highlight of our family vacation year after year. The view to the sea and the sound of calm waves finishes the experience. When the sun is setting, one can watch small fishing boats out at the sea lighting their lanterns in order to bring fresh sea delicacies on your plate:) I highly recommend!!
