Traditional Greek Restaurant
Ate here a couple of times during our two week stay in Stoupa. It is a rather small restaurant but it is typically greek and rustic. The staff were very friendly and warm. Although it doesn’t have the fine views of the other restaurants around the bay, the wonderfully cooked food and hospitality makes up for it. A steady walk up the hill towards Kalogria beach but worth the hike.

Hidden gem
Best gyros in town, kids loved the home cooked pizza. Big portions, authentic Greek food at reasonable price. One of my favourites! Sit and eat out of the sun, in a simple but clean taverna. Friendly staff. Halfway between Kalogria and Stoupa.

Gyros..souvlaki.....best food...ever !
Many years of visiting Greece I always try to find a small place where the locals go. The staff are so polite and very pleasant. For simple snack the souvlaki with pitta or gyros with pitta is superb. The main menu represents excellent value. The house wine is quite reasonable. True it is a bit cramped but it well worth the visit. Just wish I could get the take aways back home !!

Best souvlaki ever
Even though it is there is no competition for this type of food in Stoupa the manage to have the best souvlaki I have tried all my life at home! Maybe the sun and the sea make it taste better but still...really good fresh food!

A Hidden Away Gem
This little restaurant is up the hill away from the beach, near the camp-site. It can be a bit of a squash but is well worth the trudge up the hill from the village. The restaurant is in a triangle, surrounded by flowers, but is right on the road (not too busy, luckily), so it can be a bit cramped. The clientèle is much more cosmopolitan than the village restaurants, with French, Dutch and Greeks (always a good sign of a good restaurant) However, the food is worth the crush. It is generally traditional Greek, and you get absolutely loads of it, with a very filling free starter (so do not pig out on that); it caters for meat-eaters and vegetarians, with a large selection of dishes for all tastes. The house wine is good too, and if you are lucky, you will probably get a wonderful fresh fruit dessert too for nothing. If there is a down side, it would be the number of cats that swirl around your feet, but I can put up with them, with food like this.
