Best Spot for Lunch up the hill from Chora Bus Stop

Great place for lunch even on a hot day. Just up the hill from the Chora bus stop and the Rollan market. Shady and a little bit of a breeze by an big fig tree. Great tasting rosé carafe at a good value. Tequila sunrise tasty too. We enjoyed the falafel and pita, Mediterranean salad, pizza and a burger. All were really good and the service was so friendly and attentive. Definitely go!!

Top meal with very generous portions

Probably the best value for money restaurant on the island without scripmping on quality. Had a few meals here during our stay with the local pork chops which presumably came from super pigs proving to be the highlight. Amazing service from the brothers who run it.

Fish and Wine

Excellent house wines. Delicious fish and rice seasonings. The special dish of the day was "Fish fillet with lemon butter sauce, served with rice and veggies and salad, and a glass of wine or beer". For a very reasonable price. And and an ice-cream as courtesy!

Best Carbonara on the island

Decided to come here as the name of the resteraunt made us laugh, dont be fooled this is some serious good food, the carbonara was amazing and massive, the chicken souvlaki as tender as you could wish for and the grilled chicken was just as good. The owner was wonderful and had a chat with us and even the complimentary cake was amazing, would have to say you need to come into the chora at least once to try the food

Suggested: friendly and great salads

I’ve been two times with my family in the last week. The owner is friendly and prices are fair, lower than average Ios restaurants. The salads are super nice.

Lovely food and pleasant atmosphere

Went here every day for breakfast which was exceptional. Lovely food, lovely environment and friendly staff. Could stay there for ages relaxing. It’s so airy and overlooks the village, being up the hill a little from Rollan supermarket. Tried it for dinner too and was not disapointed. Huge portions and prices were very reasonable. The menu has a lot of variety so something for everyone.

Amazing

Had breakfast twice on my visit to Ios. It was amazing best on the island. The owner was so nice and helpful towards us. Couldn’t recommend enough ????
