Best local meat in Astypalea

We stayed for a week and went there twice! The meat was excellent, don’t miss out to try top handmade burger and ribs. The best food we had in the island. Better go before 8 pm in August to find a table! Give it a try!!!

Don’t miss it!!

A great restaurant with an excellent view in schoinontas beach. The meat is by all means the best we had ever experienced! We went there two times all the ingredients are local and super tasty and natural!

Excellent barbecue

Best BBQed ribs, I have tasted in a very long time. Tasos keeps his own herd of goats and is handling the BBQ himself. Add a salad with local vegetables and a great view of the Maltezana Bay and you have a perfect Aegean island meal.

Great lamb chops!

We had the most tasty lamb chops and goat in tomato sauce on the island. It's a family tavern, with homemade local cuisine materials and a great view to the Gulf of Analipsi. Very friendly stuff, reasonable pricing.

Excellent meat taverna

If you like your meat this is the place to eat. I have been eating here for over twenty years, and still receive a warm welcome from Tassos and his family. Very good meat menu, and if you’re here on August 15th you must samp,e his Lambriano, an island speciality for the festival of the Virgin Mary.

Best meat dishes on the island

A great place with local meat dishes. The range of the menu is not wide , but everything is well grilled and tasty. On Saturdays you should ask for the local dish “lambriano”. The place is not full with tourists but locals preferred it.
