Best calamari in Kassiopi!

Ate at this restaurant 3 times in the 12 days we were here, absolutely delicious food and amazing service. We tried a range of meals each time we visited but always had the calamari to start and can happily say, after trying calamari at 6 different restaurants in Kassiopi, Tavernaki’s calamari was the best by far! All 4 family members agreed, we would 100% recommend it to anyone who visits! This restaurant also has a beautiful view over the harbour as the sun sets. Our favourite place to eat in the town!

Must visit! Great food and lovely people

Friendliest staff I have met in Greece. Very good food! We had an additional request which was not a problem and not charged. Incredible! Very nice view over the port!

Loved it !

Just fabulous! The location is superb right on the harbour side , the outdoor terrace is very classical to a taverna. The staff are very friendly and deliver great service . All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals seabass sea bream shell fish dishes. They also have daily specials Cannot wait to go back

Lovely traditional lunch

Staying in Agios Gordios & came to Kassiopi for lunch. Last visit was 5 years ago, & had lunch in the same taverna. We shared fried courgette fritters, cucumber & tomato salad, tomato & herb balls & an aubergine stuffed with feta. All washed down with white wine & water overlooking the harbour. Staff very pleasant & friendly. Lemonchello to finish, what’s not to like?????

Busiest in the harbour, for a reason…

Looking around the harbour it’s difficult not to miss Tavernaki, it’s the busiest restaurant in Kassiopi. That doesn’t always translate into good food, punctual service and a friendly team, but it does at Tavernaki. The prices are average for a great location, 2 course with drink for 3 is around €80. The food, fish especially is fresh and portion sizes are ample. The 3 guys that serve are courteous, jovial & have dishes served in the blink of an eye. It’s seems difficult to see why you wouldn’t want to go here, mooring is a doddle, 3 steps and you’re sitting down !

Great Experience, Great People, Great Food

We have just come home from a lovely 2 week holiday in Corfu. During this time we went to Tavernaki 4 times for our evening meal, unusual for us as we like to try different places. We had traditional greek meals each time - the pastitsada is beautiful and the fish dishes delicious. We can’t recommend this place highly enough - well done Kostas and all the staff, especially the fantastic cooks in the kitchen. All of the staff went above and beyond to chat and engage with us in a very relaxed and easy going manner. Well done and thank you!
