You’ve come to the right place" - indeed!
After a day of exploring Mystras, we let the tripadvisor reviews lead us to Taygetos Balcony. Or better: past it, a couple of times. You need to have a small car and the nerve to veer into "roads" that to us didn’t seem to be meant for driving to get there. In the end, we just parked the car way down the road and walked up the hill. Yannis came to sit with us and said "So, let’s talk about your dinner" and while Kiki was working her "mountain cooking" magic in the kitchen, he set us up with invaluable recommendations for what to do with our holiday time in the area. Dinner was absolutely delicious, the wine a perfect match, and then came the desert we didn’t need to order. "Of course you want desert, duh! That’s not a question." The vegan tiramisu cake - a family original recipe - was the perfect finish for a wonderful night. We can’t wait to go visit again.

Fabulous food, great hosts, wonderful view!
Kiki is a great cook, and I already raved about her local smoked trout pasta (see also staying at the Hotel), but we had some superb salmon and wild boar too (though I think Yannis may have claimed the boar dish). Either way, we had some great food and would unreservedly recommend the restaurant. Yannis recommended some superb wines too, so what more could anyone want? Try it!

Kiki is one of the best chefs around! She made us smoked trout and pasta...so delicious!!! I couldnt get enough and I dont like fish! Make this restaurant your next dinner out ....you will remember it for the rest of your life!

Nothing to dislike everything was so good - mainly home cooked and all traditional. John & Kiki use all local produce and Kiki is an excellent cook and nothing was too much trouble, we were totally spoilt and the perfect hosts.

Unbelievable, traditional Greek food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Special green salad from local herbs, smoked trout with wild mushroom sauce, salmon from the local river and boar in red wine hunted near by!!!!!!!!! Many, many, reserve wines to drink. Just ask Yannis the owner !!!! And for dessert......grilled clams with ice cream !!!!!!!!!!! You have to be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!
