The Fish House Taverna is probably one of the most photographed restaurants on the island of Kos! Literally steps away from the main Harbour. Sit and enjoy the views and watch the hustle and bustle or relax in the quieter garden area at the back (which can be a real sun trap on a windy day).Fresh fish and Seafood is of course on the menu, but so much more as well. A large selection of traditional Greek dishes, (lamb kleftiko, moussaka, mixed souvlaki), dips, salads, succulent steaks, pizza and ... AND! .... (children portions also available).A traditional Greek Taverna with excellent service and a great Greek atmosphere!

Best seafood in kos hands down!

This place has the best sea food on the whole island along with amazing staff and a beautiful setting definitely be returning in the future I chose to have my last meal there n it was perfect.. Dont just stand at the bottom off the steps and take a picture for the gram.. Go and have some food there!! You won’t be disappointed I promise you!

A traditional Greek Taverna ,its a must while in Kos Town

We stopped here for a meal one evening it was fantastic! It had a nice Greek feel to it as you walked up the steps and friendly staff to greet you in . We had 3 courses while we were there and to be honest the whitebait starter I had was more like sardines and was enough for the main meal!! They had greek music playing its like proper Greek Taverna in the heart of Kos Town very busy and relaxed atmosphere. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely Place

Had our first and last lunch of our holiday here. Location is excellent and very photogenic. Staff is very friendly. We had the Fisherman's pot twice (so good, recommend this!) sardines, halloumi, meatballs and gyros. Worth a visit!

Delicious food and great personell

Normally I would not take the effort to write an review when a restaurant has been pleasant to eat at. However, I think this restaurant deserves some love as it was a perfect experience from the bezinning to the end. As all restaurants were full (we wanted to get a spot druring prime time) this was the only restaurant that was aware of the people waiting outside. They offered us a place to sit if we wanted to dine in their restaurant and told us to wait a couple of minutes. We got offered drinks while we were waiting. And they lived up to their promise, within five minutes we got offered a table for two. Without going in too much detail. The food was perfect, was not too expensive and since we were left with some tzaziki, a waitress brought us some extra pita on the house to eat with the tzaziki. All and all, personally deserves all the credit it could get. Definitely deserves the 5 stars and could recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely restaurant, staff and great food !

In a COVID situation, not many locations were open. We were happy to discover this place on their season opening evening. The staff is very friendly, the food is very fresh and tasty, and the price very correct. We were so happy we went twice ! The setting is also very beautiful, and can be a nice scenery for holiday pictures. A place to try out if you are in Kos! We will for sure remember it.

SUPERB FOOD EXCELLENT SERVICE

We were greeted by Atlanta an absolute star she looked after us frim start to finish. The food was fresh and really tasty I had squid which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant not only for its location but the level of service and quality of food. Well done Atlanta and family for making our experience truly memorable.

Mamma Mia style restaurant with fantastic food.

Beautiful food with good service. The restaurant is situated in the centre of Kos Town and within walking distance of the harbour side. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed and given a friendly feeling. I’m a vegetarian and there was plenty for me to eat. My husband had the captains catch which was recommended and he enjoyed it. If going to Kos Town this is a must. We’d highly recommend a visit.
