To Meraki, Zakynthos

If you’re after authentic Greek food with friendly staff and a great view, this is the place to come in Tsilivi! The seafood starters seemed very fresh and they did not hold back on portion sizes. The staff was super helpful in recommending what turned out to be delicious main courses. Generous portion sizes all around. 10/10 value for money! Only thing to note, the card machine doesn’t always work so it’s better to bring cash.

A truly traditional Greek Taverna serving delicious local cuisine. Taverna offers lovely views across Planos and Tsilivi. Menu is excellent and enjoyed several dishes as visited four times during vacation. Recommend lamb chops, pork steak, beef stamina...and starters. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Made very welcome and delighted to see us return. Highly recommend anyone staying within Tragaki, Planos or wider area to visit and dine here as important to keep traditional tavernas sustainable. EFHARISTO!!

What a fab restaurant. Beautiful setting. Excellent service and staff. Food was delicious. Went twice during our holiday. Picked up from our hotel and after a lovely evening taken back which was all part of the service. Superb

To Meraki is situated a short distance up the hill from the road between Tsilivi and Tragaki, with spectacular views over the countryside and coastline. The setting has a wow about it and is very special, but this doesn’t mean anything without a culinary experience worth writing about. The good news is the whole experience is wow as well! Nikos, one of the owners of our hotel Dream Studios recommended To Meraki to us, thanks Nikos - so good we ate here 5 times in a two week holiday! When we wanted to eat up the hill, we asked Nikos or his brother Costas to call the restaurant and ask for a lift for us. This service was brilliant, either the owner or the waiter (gutted I didn’t get his name, but an absolute gent with fantastic manners and a lovely lad) drove down to pick us up and afterwards, bring us back to the hotel again! It was only 3 minutes drive away, but what a service to offer! The setting is amazing as I’ve already said, the food is just as impressive. The menu is substantial, prices very reasonable, service is first rate. There are lovely touches such as complimentary bruschetta style starter and watermelon desserts on the house, make sure you are hungry when visiting To Meraki - it’s a gastronomic delight! Take cash as the card machine isn’t always working. Traditional Greek dishes and some other meals are available, the tough bit is deciding which to have! Sometimes I need to award 5 circles to a venue as 4 isn’t good enough, it really irritates me that I can’t give a half circle as part of a review on Tripadvisor, however on this occasion, half circles aren’t necessary - 5 circles are wholly justified!

My daughter and I visited this fabulous restaurant on recommendations from several other people who we met on holiday. The recommendations were so good that we had to try it and were so glad that we did. The staff collected us in their car to take us up to the mountainside restaurant and our perfect evening had begun. The food was out of this world, so delicious and plentiful. Very reasonable prices indeed. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. We were given complimentary bruschetta topped with delicious tomatoes and herbs and after our delicious appetisers and main course we were also treated to complimentary watermelon. This went down very well! At the end of this superb evening we were then chauffeured back to our hotel free of charge. Excellent!

We visited this restaurant as a change of scenery from our resort and were reccomended To Meraki by a friend. We booked for 7.45pm to ensure we saw the sunset and are so glad we did. The restaurant is set in a beautiful garden overlooking orchards and the sea. It felt very intimate and private and really showcased the view of Zakynthos. Mary and Oresti, who served us were both extremely friendly, polite and helpful with the food choices- a real credit to the team and restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the best we’ve had in Zakynthos by far. The fish and seafood were fresh and the portion sizes were plentiful. Our overall experience of this restaurant was a very positive and magical evening and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island. To top it all off Oresti collected us from our hotel and dropped us off at the end of the meal which was a great bonus.

Outstanding a must visit! What a wonderfully out the way restaurant! Perched up out of Tsilivi town in Tragaki, 25 min walk from Tsilivi. The views are wonderful, watching the town lights come on and the small islands light up out at sea. Food was outstanding with a bruschetta to die for, even the teenagers ate it and they’ve never been writhing 10 foot of a tomato. Veal stew (beef stifado) was simply beautiful as was the beef steak. Settings and garden are lovely, well worth a visit. Great service.

Everything was perfect, Spyros and Orestes were very helpful with the food choices. The food was tasteful and well priced!!

We were staying near by and didn't realise this restaurant was so close to us until the day before we were leaving - otherwise we'd have made more than one trip. It's just a lovely spot and everything was delicious.
