Vera Lili Apartments

We spent 2 weeks on the island of Thassos in July 2014 ( 2 adults a 12 year old girl and a 9 year old boy)staying at the Vera Lili appartments. We had an abolsutely fantastic time. The apartment was clean and practical, providing everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Frank and his family made us feel extremely welcome, they looked after us very well and we were genuinely sad to leave!! I would recommend the island as a destination for couples and families alike. There is plenty to do from visiting all the beautiful beaches, ancient ruins or just ambling through the market in the evening. We found the locals to be very hospitable and would really recommend the Island Beach bar that we frequented throughout our 2 weeks. They too looked after us very well and made sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The town of Limenas where we stayed is a busy little place in the town BUT it quietens down nicely in the evening so there was never any danger of being disturbed by loud music or people falling out of bars after hours. The food was great too, some lovely restaraunts, we particulalrly enjoyed 'The Twins', its away from the main run of bars and shops but the food and service was superb. We often enjoyed breakfast at Vera Lili by the pool and Lili makes a superb black russian that we enjoyed on the comfy chairs by the pool in the evening. We hope to be back to see Frank and his family at Vera Lili at some point in the future as you couldn't ask for more from your hosts!. …

Very good hotel, our room was very nice and the owner was very helpfull and we enjoyd our staying there! The pool is amazing and the breakfest is nice! We also got a jaw of honey from the owner when we left! We had a amazing time at Thassos and the hotel is very good for familys and people that want a peacefull and quite staying! We had a great time on Thassos. Vera Lili apartments were a wunderfull place to stay. Frank, the owner and his staff did the utmost to give his guests a time never to forget! We recommend this fine place to every one looking for a good place to stay
