Villa Gambas

We had to change hotels at the last minute as our first hotel was horrible. The host was very helpful when we went to view even though there was no guarantee we were going to book. The studio apartment was recently renovated. It was modern, clean, comfortable, plenty of towels, and you could see the sea from the balcony! The location was perfect, right on the beach. Guests have free use of loungers and get discount at bar/restaurant. The food and drinks were good. The staff were very kind and helpful. We are sad to leave, and we would definitely stay there again when back in Santorini. Thank you for turning our holiday from hell into a perfect holiday!

It is a great accommodation: cleaned,10 meters from the sea. The owner and the staff are amazing. They are kind and helpful. The best room with sea view was available and even if we booked a budget room...they offered as the bedt room they had without charging extra money. They did it just because the room was available and so why not let us enjoy it. They offered us coffees every day. The trasfer from the airport was also for free. We really suggest it. Consigliatissimo. Pulito. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Ci hanno offerto la stanza con vista mare perché libera, senza chiederci la differenza, nonostante noi avessimo prenotato stanza con vista giardino. Ottima compensazione qualità-prezzo. Andateci e non ve ne pentirete. Noi faremo soggiornare i nostri genitori qui il prossimo anno. …

Villa Gambas was a bit tricky to find from the main street because of all the restaurants and just a small painted text. The reception is in fact in a restaurant called El Greco and they were very welcoming and nice people. Our room was on the ground floor and yet very quiet. It was very easy to just walk a few steps to the beach and once we ate at the restaurant, which had delicious food and they gave us a 10 percent discount because we were staying in Villa Gambas. The only minus i could think of would be the wifi, which didn’t work in the room on the first day, but they were more than happy to fix it for the next day and we could use their private wifi for the time being. I would highly suggest staying in Villa Gambas!
