Lovely atmosphere and tasty food

Yiamas has became one of our favorite Taverns in Thassos. We loved it because it is located right on the beach and offers a spectacular view and you can enjoy some beautiful sunset scenery. The food was delicios every time. Our 1 year old son loves this place as he finds fun counting pebbles or sleeping in the hammock. During a few days we tried different dishes : sea food, moussaka, chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, fresh fish, tzatziky, and of course the free desert "on the house" and we were very delighted every time. The staff is really nice and friendly. It’s always a pleasure to return here.

Excellent choice for a peaceful and tasty dinner

We visited the restaurant in August along with kids and friends. Location is beautiful, sea side, spacious terrase, clean, greek music (not loud), perfect for a romantic dinner but also with kids (they have plenty of space to run). Food was very tasty, plating nice, bathroom spotless, serving was fast. We loved the place. Much better than other places nearby. We’ll visit again for sure!

At the Beach excellent dining

I would say just about the best beachside dining on the Island. I have been travelling to Thasos for over thirteen years, have visited a lot of it, but somehow, this particular area of the island is just magical. Fantastic well presented food comes out of the kitchen at a constant rate. And is always of a very high quality. A must visit, if you are on the island!

Still the best food in Thasos

I came back and i had a very good meal. I like it a lot and for shure i will be back. The octupus is my favourite also the fresh fish it's good.

Excellent service, delicious food

We ate here twice during our recent stay and it was excellent. We walked from Zafira and on both occasions were given a lift back, which was a lovely gesture. On my Mother’s birthday, Vassili, the owner put gorgeous fresh flowers & floating candles on the table. The service is very attentive, nothing seemed too much trouble, the staff even served us a large beer shared into two glasses so we could drink it as cold as possible. We loved the summer salad, a change from Greek salad which came with balsamic glaze. The squid was some of the best we’ve eaten in Greece, the sea bass and grilled chicken were both very good. Tasty after dinner treat of a smooth panna cotta with cherry sauce. All five of our group had great meals here and would definitely recommend a visit.

Good food

Typical Greek food and well cooked . Eating in the open air by the sea watching the sun set so romantic. Good selection of food and well cooked. The staff are very attentive and speak good English. Packed with local people so it must be good if locals are going there. Certainly both out visits were very good. You can’t fail to be well fed here.
