This place should not be underestimated

You could be forgiven for treating this place as merely a snack bar owing to the unpretentious nature of the decor, however you may be missing out on one of the best (and certainly best value) evening meals of your holiday. The lamb on the spit, and pork kontosouvli specials are not to be missed, but book ahead of time to avoid disappointment. The gyros here are extremely popular too.

Amazing

This place is amazing. I wouldn't eat anywhere else if it wasn't for my husband wanting to try new places. It is a friendly family business and I love the fact that I can see them cooking and how clean it is. Excellent value too.

Best in town!

This is the best Gyro in town, without a doubt. All the flavours taste fresh and well prepared. The staff are lovely. For €2.50 you really get spoiled! Can’t wait to try something else from here. Hygiene levels in place look high. You have to get your gyro here, don’t just get one, get two! You will not regret it I ate at a restaurant on the same road and it was rubbish comparing to this and 10x the price. I’ll be back

Amazing Food

We have eaten here 3 times since we arrived on Tuesday, after eating here last year. The staff are amazing & welcome everyone & the food is cooked to perfection. Last night we had spit roast lamb & prawn saganaki, tonight we both had spit roast chicken which was amazing & my husband can’t resist the orange cake, hope to return before we leave at the end of the week

Fantastic Taverna

Really great food here, would highly recommend the Corfiot lamb, lamb kleftiko, and the souvlaki. The service is excellent and always with a smile. Thank you for making it such a wonderful holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Best Pita Gyros

You can't stay in San Stef without a Pita Gyros in Yiannis. Whilst famous for Gyros the other grill items on the menu e.g lamb on the spit are succulent.

Fabulous gyros, friendly service

We visited this restaurant on the day of our arrival where we enjoyed some of the best gyros we have ever had. Great turnover , including regular customers popping in to collect takeaway meant a lovely fresh gyros meat portion, cooked to perfection in Greek pitta wrap with tzatziki, onion, and tomato. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The fixed menus advertised sounded delicious, just wish we had more time for a second visit. This restaurant is definitely on our list to return to when we are next in San Stefanos

Outstanding

Food absolute beautiful. Had the special for 10€. Starter of tzatziki or meatballs then lamb, chicken or pork from the grill followed by orange cake. Hubby and I shared meatballs and tzatziki which was both tasted amazing. Then shared the lamb and chicken. The lamb melted in our mouths. So full struggled to earn the otand cake which again tasted amazing. Excellent value. Will be returning before we go home.

Lamb on the spit!

Yiannis grill room dishes up great Gyros and is fantastic value. The lamb on the spit with Greek roast potatoes though, served once a week, is excellent. Always features on our list of places to eat when holidaying in the village.
